Will you buy the new iPhone?

Wednesday, June 11th, 2008

Just read a little blurb on another site about the new 3G iPhone. They also have a poll going on whether users will buy the new device… I wonder if adding ActiveSync will help them gain more Enterprise users.

Are you going to switch from Blackberry to iPhone? Take the poll by clicking the link below.

As a Gold Certified Partner, Exchange My Mail has demonstrated expertise with Microsoft technologies and proven ability to meet customers’ needs.

“Exchange My Mail is extremely excited to be among an elite group of Microsoft Gold Certified Partners; this achievement demonstrates our commitment to continue working closely with Microsoft..” says David Grantz, CIO at Exchange My Mail, Inc.

Competencies
As one of the requirements for attaining Gold Certified Partner status, Exchange My Mail had to declare a Microsoft Competency. Microsoft Competencies are designed to help differentiate a partner’s capabilities within specific Microsoft technologies. Each competency has a unique set of requirements and benefits, formulated to accurately represent the specific skills and services that partners bring to the technology industry.

• Advanced Infrastructure Solutions: The Advanced Infrastructure Solutions Competency is designed for partners with proven expertise in designing and/or implementing complex infrastructure solutions such as Hosted Microsoft Exchange. Because customers are increasingly seeking higher availability and uptime, more often they have been looking to work with partners that have the dedication, devotion and expertise to pass this kind of certification. Specializations within the competency are Active Directory and Identity Management, Exchange Migration and Deployment, Hosting Solutions, System Management and Storage Solutions.

• Networking Infrastructure Solutions: Microsoft Gold Certified Partners enrolled in the Networking Infrastructure Solutions Competency have proved their expertise in implementing technology solutions based on either the Microsoft Windows Server 2003 or Windows 2000 Server operating system, with a particular focus on Microsoft Small Business Server 2000 and Windows Small Business Server 2003. These implementations may include crafting solutions that connect Windows-based servers, PC locations and the Internet; installing a server farm; or building a small-business Windows Server stand-alone solution that includes file and print capabilities.

The Microsoft Partner Program was launched in October 2003 and represents Microsoft’s ongoing commitment to the success of partners worldwide. The program offers a single, integrated partnering framework that recognizes partner expertise, rewards the total impact that partners have in the technology marketplace, and delivers more value to help partners’ businesses be successful.

Working Parents

Tuesday, April 8th, 2008

There is a common misconception in the business world: working parents are a liability. Many feel that parents who work, especially those who are single parents, are more of a problem than they are an asset. After all, if their child is sick or hurt, they have to leave work to take care of them. Some illness can last for a week or more, which causes many parents to miss the same amount of time. If you use exchange hosting in your company, however, working parents do not have to be a liability, but can rather be a great asset.

No one works harder than a parent who is trying to provide for their family and build a future, and if you give that parent the tools to continue working no matter where they are, you will be amazed at the work that can get done. Exchange hosting gives parents the ability to have access to their email, contacts, calendar, tasks, memo’s and more no matter where they may happen to be. If they have to leave work in order to tend to a sick child, they can access their emails and contact information from their home computer in order to get things done when the child is sleeping or otherwise occupied. If they are commuting to work, they can use wireless synchronization in order to get a head start on the day. Working parents are not a liability when you use exchange hosting.

Going Mobile

Sunday, April 6th, 2008

Many years ago, the only people who had to travel outside of their home to work were salesmen and pharmaceutical reps. Now, however, just about everyone is occasionally escaping the cubicle that they used to be confined to and are taking their work on the road. When you’re a large business, it is easy to allow your employees the ability to access their email and documents no matter where they are. But what do you do when you’re a smaller business can can’t afford to pay $20,000 or more to initiate your own Microsoft Exchange Server?

If you’re a small business and are looking for a way to give your employees constant access to their important information, you should select exchange hosting. Exchange hosting has become one of the most popular ways for companies to keep all of their employees in constant contact with their work, no matter where they happen to be. Exchange hosting is extremely easy to implement into your company. All it takes is a few clicks and some helpful tech support and you will be able to give all of your employees instant access to anything they may have need of, including a company calendar and contact list.

The “R” Word

Friday, April 4th, 2008

These days businesses are doing everything they can to avoid saying the “r” word. Everyone is denying that a recession is a very probable state, but in reality, it is something that is hard not to think about. Even some in the restaurant business are capitalizing on a possible recession by having “pre-depression specials” put on their menu. Those who own small businesses are doing everything they can to save money, and one way to do that is to us an outsourced exchange hosting provider.

Microsoft Exchange is the program to have when you own a business, and many spent tens of thousands of dollars purchasing it, installing it, and taking care of it. Those who are worried about finances often cut technological necessities right out of the budget. If you want to be able to use Microsoft Exchange without having to pay the huge fees, exchange hosting may be what you need. Exchange hosting allows you the ability to utilize all of the best of Microsoft Exchange features without having to pay the huge fees that are generally associated with it. You can have technology in your company without having to worry that it will break the bank.

Being Single

Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008

No one likes to be single. There are people out there who spent thousands of dollars a year in order to meet their perfect match. And if you look around, almost everything is geared towards “bigger and better”. What do you do when you are a single person who owns their own business and needs to have access to your email and important documents wherever you go? You look for an exchange hosting company that has a program set up for single people!

Many exchange hosting companies focus on providing hosting for large companies, but there are those out there whose main focus is providing hosting for small companies, or even for individuals who own their own business. Exchange hosting when you own your own business can save you frustration and a lot of money. It allows you to have instant access to your email no matter where you are, and also give you the ability to retrieve your documents and contact information at all times. It is true that being single can be difficult – especially when you are looking at businesses that focus on helping large companies. It can, however, be much less exasperating, at least technology-wise, when you use exchange hosting.

Staying Safe

Tuesday, April 1st, 2008

When you have a business, no matter how large or small it may be, you want to make sure that everything is safe. Many discover that the weakest part of their business is the internet, as they have employees that are sneaking online and accidentally downloading viruses onto their computer. When you have all of your computer systems set up, you want to ensure that you keep everything safe. Exchange My Mail’s Exchange hosting offers the best in breed anti-spam / anti-virus protection from the recognized leader..Postini.

Postini is both a spam blocker and an anti-virus software that has been considered the best in the market. It is web based, which means that you do not have to install any software. Best of all, exchange hosting with Postini gives you the ability to adjust how well-protected you would like your network to be, which can save you a lot of frustration and hassles. Postini works so well, that it has a 98% or better accuracy in stopping spam and viruses from destroying your computer! The idea that it has the best protection available while still being completely web-based is astounding. Postini: just another benefit of using exchange hosting.
