evernote-iphone

Evernote is now open to the public. I started using this utility about a month ago, and it’s awesome.

For those of you who have not yet heard of Evernote, This neat service allows you to capture, share and find information.

It’s searchable and available from anywhere. Think of it as a notebook that you can send information to, and then search for old notes when they are needed.

Her’s how it works:
Capture information you want to save using either the desktop application ( windows & mac ), the web clipper tool, or send it to an email address.
The information is then sorted, and indexed on their servers, and made accessible to all of your devices. When you need to find something, simply search for it using the built in search feature. Information is kept confidential, unless you chose to make it public.

They even have an application that will run on the iPod Touch as well as any iPhone enabled with the 2.0 firmware. Simply download it from the Apple AppStore
Details Here

As of this writing the service is free if you want to store less than 2GB of data, or you can pay a monthly fee to get more storage.

The downloads page offers easy access to all of the available options:

Enjoy, and post your comments. Lets us know how you like it.

G-Park for iPhone

Monday, July 14th, 2008

This cool new app from posimotion.com uses the GPS feature built into the new   iPhone to help you find where you parked your car.

Easy to use, simply press the “Park me!” button (You can also add notes if you wish).

When it comes time to find where you parked, simply hit the “Where Did I Park button.  This brings up google maps, and creates a turn by turn set of directions that will lead you right back to your car.

This app will also work on the legacy iPhone as well as the iPod Touch.

As of this writing no word on cost.
